About Charlotte
Hello! I’m Charlotte and I’m glad you’re here.
As an emergency physician, I’ve spent years making decisions under pressure — often using incomplete, unreliable, dynamic information and with real consequences. I’ve learned to be comfortable in high-stakes situations, and I naturally think clearly when things are complex.
Over time, I have become interested in big decisions more broadly.
Not the kind where there’s an absolute right answer for those who can just analyze hard enough. The kind where multiple paths could work and the real question is which path is actually yours.
At different points in my own life, both personally and professionally, I’ve found myself swimming in that sort of uncertainty.
From choosing to a medical specialty and then detouring to business school, to founding and then later stepping back from a company, to navigating the tension between ambition, identity, and family — I know what it’s like to have options and still feel unclear.
Many times in my own life things have looked coherent on the outside (maybe even successful!) and yet still felt off.
There’s a certain kind of loneliness that can set in when external metrics tell you that you should feel good about where things are or where they are headed but internally you know something needs to change.
While doing my own inner work and in coming along side others, I’ve noticed most thoughtful, highly capable people don’t struggle with this particular type of uncertainty because they lack information or critical thinking.
They struggle because:
they can see too many angles at once
they know how to justify multiple paths
they’ve learned to orient toward what is impressive, efficient, or expected
and they’ve lost access to something quieter, but more reliable…
Their own sense of what is true.
In our work, my job is not give advice.
It’s to create the conditions where you can:
slow down enough to hear yourself think
separate signal from noise
understand what actually matters to you
and make a decision you can stand behind
Not just intellectually, but fully, with your whole body.
You will find in working with me that I tend to understand situations quickly, so we can spend less time getting me oriented and more time swimming in the deeper water, so to speak.
If you’re someone who knows themself to be thoughtful, capable, and objectively “successful” but find yourself at a point where that isn’t enough to move forward clearly…
Welcome. You are in the right place.
